Hello Everyone. I am a bit late this month for which I offer my apologies. Things have quickened their pace it seems and there has been a bit to do as well as taking off for Easter which had to be given its due attention. Up amongst the mountains and lake at Kinlock at the head of Wakatipu is always an experience I cherish. The mountain ancestors keep such different time to we humans and its good for my soul to move a little closer to them by slowing the pace and allowing their peace into my soul. As our time accelerates the closer we get to 2012, the more it feels essential to align ourselves to a different reality from time to time as a point of reference. It is so easy to get caught up in the chaos around us, let alone the chaos within us as the onus increases on us to walk our talk, to stay centred, and manifest what works rather than more of what doesn’t. And its not even easy to define what that is. Without a strong connection to our Higher Selves, it is so easy to be beguiled by what we think we want, not really knowing if thats what we really need. Sometimes we just have to try something different and stand back and see what the feedback tells us and then keep adjusting until we get the balance right. And balance is everything! In this world of polar-opposite-gone-crazy its hard not to get caught up with the momentum that is around us, pivoting us backwards and forwards from one extreme to the other. Staying centered is hard but stay centered we must if we are going to survive these turbulent times. However staying centered is not necessarily about staying rational. Rationale often disguises itself as wisdom when it’s really the ‘norm’ being touted out again. This is the time to ‘feel our way’ forward. Nothing about the future is likely to bear any resemblance to the past so we cannot fall back on what we intellectually ‘know’. We have to use our instinct and our gut knowing to carefully move where none have gone before (except perhaps Luc Piccard of Starship Enterprise
). And that means we have to clear away blockages that have settled within from childhood that keep telling us the same old things about ourselves and our capabilities. This internal ‘noise’ gets in the way of hearing the messages of the Higher Self that we so vitally need to hear in order to get where we are going rather than stay where we are. Because we cannot stay where we are! Change is not coming. It’s here! To quote Alberto Villoldo of “Healing the Light Body School” from which the Munay Ki of the Qu’ero people comes to the West. It’s here. Well and truly.
Some of you I know will have been going through stressful times as issues that we have left undealt with rise up to be sorted. Some of you will be in grief as those of us that are unable to cope with the energy increase exit through choice of sickness, accident, and violence. Relationship go through the mill too, as we question ourselves as to what we want and if we still want it. Some will survive, though transformation is inevitable. Some will transform through moving on. Now is not the time to cling on through fear but acknowledge each others need to grow, and honour that either way. Some of you might have lost your jobs or question if the one you have is still what you want. You may feel trapped by the need to earn a living in money whilst the economic system is turning itself upside down and our politicians are acting like nothings changed. Now is a really good time to dig within and ask these hard questions with an open mind and heart and see if you can hear the wise utterings of the Higher Self within you. If you have the courage to follow its lead, the future will eventually open up for you like the parting of the Red Sea. But not yet. Be patient. It will come.
On that note, I want to thank you for the response you have shown to the coming publication of my new book, “The Way Through-A Guide to Psychosynthesis is Everyday Life”. This book is a workbook about the most elegant spiritual psychology yet to be devised. Based on my own experience over 25 years of the work of Alberto Assagioli, it is a book that I hope honours him but also goes beyond where he left off. Rather than being an intellectual discourse of Psychosynthesis, its workbook style offers people a chance to work with the principles in their own time and way. It is based on the course that I developed and taught for many years both in Sydney and in Dunedin. The insights that I gained from on-the-spot experiential work with my students enrich the whole. The techniques offered are ones that I have found work. Maybe not immediately. But over time and practice, I have seen them transform the lives of many, many people. But it is experiential. That is, its not enough to merely read the book. It requires your participation like all good relationships. And that is what I hope it will offer its readers: an opportunity to develop a relationship with Psychosynthesis, leading to a deeper and clearer relationship with themselves.
I am anticipating beginning to teach the Psychosynthesis Course again next year, module by module. I would appreciate hearing from any of you that would be interested in the first module: a 12 week block. It will probably be run over the winter term. The second module would then be offered as there were enough students that have completed the first one, interested in continuing on.
“Reweaving The Web”, my first book, released late last year, is also available at discount price for those who pre-order “The Way Through”. Please email me for details of this offer.
The Shamanic course is now full for this year, so if anyone was interested in that, it will also now not be available again until 2010 commencing next August. It is a 90 hour course running either weekly or over 7 monthly weekend workshops. Please register your interest for this also as soon as possible, as I only take three participants, and once I have the numbers I will close it off.
Finally, I have had a request to fit in another Munay Ki Initiation Workshop this year. I need another 4 people to make it happen in June/July/August: three weekends once a month at a cost of $150 per workshop including materials, CD, DVD, and a gem quality Pi stone on initiation. If anyone is interested, or knows of anyone that is interested, I need to hear from you/them as soon as possible to fit the workshop in.Otherwise there will be no more until April next year. For info on Munay Ki and what it offers check www.munay-ki.org and www.spiritflight.co.nz/munay-ki. I can be contact for all of the above by email.
Well, guess that about all I have for you this month. Look forward to sharing with you again in May. Blessings Sparrowhawk (Jay Ray)
