Hi Everyone.
First a great big thank you to all of you who have purchased my book! Bless you! It has been such a wonderful response that I have nearly covered the cost of the printing. It seems to be selling itself. Long may that continue. And of course I hope you all get great growth and affirmation for yourselves from reading it. I have had good feedback about the affect it has had on some of those that have read it so far. I have also been giving talks about it and they seems to go down well also. Watch out for the Theosophical Soc talk in October. Anyone know how to contact Mentor Centre let me know (or anywhere else that might like me to talk to their members for that matter. I am free to do so now.)
I feel like I have been on a roller coaster tide ride for some time now and am at last deposited safely on another beach. I really welcome the time to take a breath or two and take stock of the new place I find myself. Fortunately the talk that I was to give at the Life Synergy Expo in Queenstown has not come off due to a mix up in booking info and I am so glad. The Universe always gives me what I need. So I will be running an intensive, talk, book launch up there at some stage but its not now. Now I am hanging out with myself for a while and planning the official book launch in Dunedin. Most people launch and then sell, but self publishing shamans can do what they like so I have been selling and intend to celebrate that sometime soon with the launch. You’ll get an invitation in your inbox. At this stage the books are not available in the bookshops, so if you want a copy (or an extra copy for someone for Xmas), contact me directly or go to my website www.spiritflight.co.nz

For those of you that are wondering, I got to the Munay Ki initiation and have now received the full nine rites as well as training in passing them on to others. Phew! It was touch and go there for a while. Every time I get a new set of rites it feels like I have to go though another set of physical adjustments, often the return of old ills, which I feel are getting cleared out on the level the rites targeted. So it shouldn’t really be a surprise to me that this has occurred yet again. And I have time to deal with it now. I guess I am very sensitive as most people seem to have less noticeable affects. It always leaves me feeling stronger and more committed to the path of doing my bit. The rites were so beautiful when we got them. Pure unconditional love! And love flushes out and dissolves its opposite. As we received them and gave them to each other, there was not a dry eye in the place it seemed to me, (maybe thats because I couldn’t see through my own tears). There was so much love in that room for each other at those times. It has however been a challenge for me to sort out what is Munay Ki teachings and what was the teachings of the shaman that initiated me, not all of which were the same and not all of which I agreed with. But it matters not. We each have our path and way and we attract those who can gain the most from what we have to say. Alberto Villoldo (I must have a thing about masters with the ‘berto’ as Psychosynthesis was started by Roberto Assagioli) has written several books on the Munay Ki, “The Four Insights” being the prime Munay Ki text, and that I have no issues with. It’s Psychosynthesis in different wording and culture. I know my choice to trainer has taught me a great deal already.

The other day in meditation I asked that I be shown the next step on my path. The feeling of unconditional love poured through me (and yes off I went again with the leaky face syndrome). But I was shown that the solution to the worlds woes can ultimately only heal with unconditional love for each other. As in Psychosynthesis, you need to do the work uncovering the issues, but in the end, if they are not healed by you with unconditional love, they will just keep recycling in your life. It is the final letting go once we accept what was, let go of wanting it to have been different, then loving ourselves and the others involved for being part of this learning drama in our lives. Then we can move on! On a global scale its the same.Acceptance leads to love, whither we are accepting the tree growing over our fence, the barking dog down the road, or the country next door to us. Remember though: acceptance isn’t resignation. Resignation is blame by any other name. Its ‘giving in’ rather than accepting. Acceptance holds the power to make a different choice having seen where we find ourselves. Resignation means not taking responsibility for the change thats needed. Having said that, it really doesn’t matter. We will all get where we are capable of going sooner or later, so don’t beat yourself up if you realise theres a bit of the old resignation happening in your life. It can always be changed, by some loving acceptance of where you find yourself, and the question, “where to from here”?

I feel the rites can accelerate this process. Therefore it is my intention to offer the rites to past students of mine later this year or early next year. The cost will be a suggested koha of $20 per workshop, or whatever it costs to cover the expenditure, whichever is the most. Each workshop will take two days. It will then be my job to mentor you, should you want it (as thats part of the responsibility of a munay ki initiator). However, should that be required you would need to pay me for that service at the normal rate of $75 a session. The workshops will take place some months apart to allow the rites to ‘take’ before moving on to the next set. There will be three rites given per workshop with teaching about the importance of those rites on the previous day. Participants will be kept to 8 at a time. I will not make them available to the public at large until after that time. Are you going to be guinea pigs? Absolutely! But fear not. The energy of love never hurt anyone, though it may change you.So if you are an ex-student and would like to be part of this, please register that intention with me as soon as you can, so that I can get a gauge of the interest from you all. For everyone else, I am afraid you will have to wait until its your turn. But it will come, if you want it, I am sure.

Well that’s it. My practice is also building slowly and surely so if any of you out there want some internal growth work done either of the shamanic or psychosynthetic therapy variety, (or you know anyone that does), let me know (or let them know as the case may be). All work is done in sacred space, assisted by the four directions, and is based on healing coming to you within that guided space from your own Higher Self, your Ancestors, Power Animals or appropriate archetypes.
Bless you all. Sparrowhawk.
